AUTHOR | SPEAKER | CERTIFIED GRIEF COACH

When I lost my son and my dad just months apart, I found myself in a world of complex grief. I couldn’t escape it; I could only walk through.

Step by step. Day by day.

My journey with grief has been one of learning, lamenting, and legacy-building. What once felt unbearable is now being transformed into purpose. Through this process, I wrote my memoir, Ports, Prosthetics, and a Whole Lotta Prayer, and became a certified grief and life coach.

My faith has carried me through every season: teen mom, single mom, oncology mom, amputee mom, hospice mom, and now, bereaved mom. I share my story not because it’s easy, but because I know what it’s like to wonder if you’ll ever breathe normally again.

I am passionate about giving moms hope and helping them advocate for their children. The medical world can feel like uncharted waters, where even the strongest boats can begin to sink if they aren’t supported and cared for.

Today, I am committed to spreading love— the kind that outlasts pain and reaches into eternity. You are not alone in your fight, and you are not alone in your grief.

I don’t walk ahead of you.

I walk with you.

I Want to Tell You About Jayden.

Jayden was funny, full of life, and had a way of lighting up every room he entered. He loved sports—football, basketball, and baseball were his favorites—playing with determination and pure joy. Diagnosed with cancer at just 10 years old, Jayden fought bravely for five long years, leaning on his deep love for Jesus and a faith that carried him through even the hardest days. He was truly special, and God called him home at the tender age of 15, leaving behind a legacy of courage, love, and unwavering faith.
